“Europeans” in America during the Palaeolithic

Here are some interesting news regarding the “discoveryof America. Lithic tools similar to tools found in Europe have been found on the American east coast and they are roughly 19,000 – 26,000 years old. It will for sure affect not only debates concerning contemporary indigenous identities, landownership, cultural heritage, etc., but also discussions regarding transatlantic contacts of a much later date (the ones supposedly related to the emergence of monumental architecture, writing, etc.). Let it be known right here that these early contacts predate the pyramids of Mesoamerica and the Andes by around 15,000 years.
