Marcus Nilsson at dOo0d|es has recently posted some links to blogs who discusses object oriented ontology and speculative realism. Most of them are in Swedish though. Anyway, some of these blogs are written by people who are more philosophically inclined than I am. I am not a philosopher but I argue that the only way to better understand the objects in the archaeological record is to be a bit knowledgeable in ontology. I find this strain of realist ontology to be far more interesting than those that currently dominate in archaeology.
