Human skull found in an underwater cave

Today National Geographic reports on a recent discovery in the underwater cave systems of Aktun-Hu near Tulum in Quintana Roo, Mexico. I have earlier mentioned the presence of extremely old human remains in the underwater caves along the coast of Quintana Roo (these caves are of completely different  dimensions than the inland caves where I have worked). The discovery was made 1200 m from the entrance of the cave system. Near the bottom of a 60 m deep pit called Hoyo Negro (Black hole) a human skull was encountered and remains of a mastodon was located nearby.

  1. Oh lord. I can see 2012ers taking this as a sign of Atlantis and past cataclysms. Nevertheless, a very cool discovery.

  2. Maybe they can include annunakis as well…
