The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 74,000 times in 2011. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 3 days for that many people to see it.
Actually, WordPress’ own site stats notes that I had 83,512 visitors and it should have been more had they not begun to erase “syndicated views” from the stats (people reading the blog’s rss) sometime in May.
The two final days of 2011 saw a notable increase in traffic to these two posts: https://haecceities.wordpress.com/2011/06/12/2012-quotes-of-the-day-george-w-bush-and-barack-obama-according-to-popol-vuh/

People have been googling “2012 quotes” and ended up at this post (particularly from India so it may not exactly relate to the 2012 phenomenon since few Indians end up on other 2012 posts).
A runner up in the past week or so have been my post on the supposed Maya site in Georgia. It almost made it to the fifth position: https://haecceities.wordpress.com/2011/12/23/2012-about-the-supposed-maya-site-in-georgia/
